What He Found While Exploring This Old Cemetery Will Give You goosebumps
Paying a visit to a cemetery every once in a while can be a good reminder that we're not on this planet for very long. It's a depressing thought, but it can serve as inspiration to help us to act in a way that improves our lives and the lives of those around us.
However, very rarely on trips to the cemetery do you actually come into contact with any physical remnants of dead people. Sadly, Redditor CynicalSoup is one of the extremely unlucky few.
Earlier this month, CynicalSoup paid a visit to a local cemetery somewhere in his home state of Alabama.
As you might imagine, the visit started out simply enough.
That is, until he noticed that a couple of the above-ground vaults weren't sealed quite as well as they should've been.
A few of them seemed to have been broken into over the years.
Looking a bit more closely at some of them, CynicalSoup was greeted with this sight: the bleach-white horror of human bones.
I think you should get out of there, dude!
Luckily, no skeleton monsters chased CynicalSoup out of the cemetery. Actually, getting to see some human bones is something very out of the ordinary in a modern American cemetery. I guess that's kind of cool.

Now that is a cemetery I'd like to go visit. I'll admit that I have a very morbid curiosity about things like this.
